Wales needed a new museum telling the story of its history as the world's first industrial nation. TGAC facilitated a successful £11m funding bid and went on to provide masterplanning and content for ten brand new galleries exploring the history and industrial innovations of Wales.
TGAC scripted all text, media and interactivity in the galleries, using a wide range of formats to engage and inspire visitors. We worked with curatorial staff and local communities to ensure that Welsh voice was clear throughout.
As a cultural destination in Wales, the new museum smashed predicted visitor figures from the outset and has welcomed over 1.5 million people since opening.
