Royal Observatory Greenwich
Client: Royal Museums Greenwich
Project: Time and Space Galleries at the Old Royal Observatory World Heritage Site, Heritage Lottery funded
Collaborators: Casson Mann (Design) , Thomas Matthews (Graphics) , New Angle (Media)
TGAC were engaged by Royal Museums Greenwich to develop an interpretive strategy and interactive briefs forseven galleries on time and space at the centre of the World Heritage Site and on the Prime Meridian line.
Narrative development involved collaboration with curators and other experts, such as historians, horologists and astronomers. The stories of time and space offer a cross-cultural perspective and present complex subjects for non-specialist and international audiences.
TGAC provided full copywriting and editing for the project, directed interactive development and picture research and interfaced with specialist developers to create new and innovative interactive exhibits.
