Art Fund’s Respond and Reimagine grants offer flexible and responsive funding designed to meet immediate challenges connected to the Covid-19 crisis and reimagine future ways of working. In the first round, Aerospace Bristol was one of 18 grants that were awarded, from a total of 114 applications.

In consultation with teams at Aerospace Bristol and development partners, we’re exploring new strategies responding to four priority areas for the museum - collections, audiences, workforce and digital, including augmented reality.

Aerospace Lives is a versatile web platform for the museum to explore new forms of storytelling and engagement, on-site and online, and to reveal never before seen materials from their archive that spans more that 100 years of aerospace development and social history in Filton and Bristol.

The aim of these cultural resilience grants and projects are to support creative and innovative projects as organisations look to reopen and develop fundamentally different operating models.
