From the 15th to the 17th of November 2016 the world leaders in the advancing physical-digital landscape of the Smart City gathered in Barcelona for the trefoil event covering the Smart City World Expo, the iWater Expo and the Circular Economy.
For three days TGAC was given the opportunity to get up close and personal, to hold, test and scratch the surface of the some of the technologies and trends that are shaping the places we live in and the spaces of tomorrow. We were treated to a series of fantastic talks and plenary sessions, with lots of opportunity to ask questions and meet and talk further with the guest speakers.
A couple of particular highlights from the event were the session on Rethinking Mobility Patterns to Build More Liveable Cities, The Future of Artistic Communities in the Democratisation of Cities and the Smart City Hack Challenge 2016 (see the full Program here).
